ORGANY POOL

24/07/05

This truly is one of our greatest routes! We met at Newbridge on Usk, it was a warm Saturday evening we cycled out to Llantrisant and then up the quiet country lane known as Llewellyn’s dingle. The ride up from Llangwm and then Cobblers plane was unsurpassable in its fantastic beauty! We shot down in to Trellech Grange and then climbed up the extra narrow wooded tunnel to Organy pool. We stopped here for a while to take in the atmosphere of this tranquil place. Dark was approaching as we set off to Catbrook and then with our Lumicycle lamps burning we plummeted down the Star pitch to Llansoy. A short ride to Usk before taking the usual route home....45miles.
