After Andrew's crash in the summer his frame had to be repaired. This involved the complete removal of the front triangle and straightening of the right rear seat stay and of repainting the frame in it's original blue and gold colour scheme. This work was entrusted to 'Argos Racing Cycles' of Bristol who have a fine reputation for restoring knackered bikes. On inspection of the frame we have to say that they have done an excellent job, as we had expected, and have faithfully restored the frame to it's original condition. The paintwork is deep, lustrous and bone hard and the lug lining is excellent. The gold colour has turned out a slightly different shade...a better shade in my opinion...more goldy !....Andrew is well chuffed and is now busy collecting some new parts ready to fit to his pride and joy for it's maiden run sometime in the spring !
